Thanks to all of you who have supported this Tournament over the years, your ongoing commitment to this Tournament and Minor Ball in Sheffield are what make it a success!

 The Randy Emberson 3-pitch Tournament
is held in memory of Randy Emberson.
Randy was born in Guelph in 1961 and moved to Sheffield in 1973 when his family purchased the former "George Family" General Store. Randy Emberson played, coached and umpired ball at the Sheffield Park as well as many others.

Randy attended Sheffield Public and Dr. John Seaton Schools. He received the Citizenship Award at his Grade 8 Graduation. While attending Glenview Park Secondary School he was Student Body President. Randy received his Honours B.A. at McMaster University and then to receive his Law Degree at the University of Western Ontario. Randy practised law for Brantford Community Legal Aid.
Randy was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 24 just outside of St. George on November 18, 1995
The red maple tree located on your left as you enter the Sheffield ball park was planted in his memory by the Sheffield Lions Club
